Tender description

The Trust has a requirement for the provision of Taxi Transport Service. The Trust has a separate courier contract in place for the movement of goods between its sites on a fixed timetable. To supplement this the Trust also requires the provision of a 24-hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year taxi service to enable more urgent and flexible movement of Staff, Patients and the movement of goods/ equipment between the Trust Sites. There is an expectation that the successful company must be able to deal with requests for two or more jobs simultaneously when required. All taxi requests are made through the Trust’s Transport Helpdesk and details logged on the Trust’s system. An average of up to twenty two taxi bookings per day are made, with Monday historically being the heaviest day. Keywords: Taxi Service
