Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) are working for and on behalf of, NHS England (North) Lancashire and South Cumbria, to conduct market engagement to obtain input and feedback as part of the development of potential service models for the provision of Orthodontic Services in South Cumbria. NHS England (North) Lancashire and South Cumbria are the contracting authority for the provision of Orthodontic Services in South Cumbria. The contract will commence on 1.4.2018 to 31.3.2019 to enable the commissioners to review the full Orthodontic Service provision. This service will subsequently be procured in line with regional commissioning intentions. As per Regulation 75 (i) (B (iv)) of the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015, the Contracting Authority intends to award a public contract without further publication and invite interested providers to express their interest on the Proactis eTender portal by Tuesday 5.12.2017 at 5:30pm. The Contracting Authority would like to gather some soft intelligence from the market and are requesting that any organisations that would like to be considered to deliver the service complete and return the Request for Information document, which is provided with this notice on the Proactis eTender Portal, by Tuesday 5.12.2017 at 5:30pm. As part of the market engagement potential providers may be invited to one-to-one sessions or a market engagement event/workshop which are expected to be held in December 2017, dates are to be confirmed. Only providers that have completed the RFI will be offered any 1:1 sessions should they be arranged. This process will be conducted via the NECS e-tendering system (Proactis) as such there will be no hard copy documents issued to potential providers and all communications between potential providers and NECS, including tender submissions, will be conducted via the PROACTIS portal.
