Tender description

United utilities is interested in understanding what financial swaps, PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) and other financial arrangements are currently available within the market in order to fix a proportion of the commodity cost of their power. We would like to receive proposals from external parties detailing the structure of the arrangement and indicative rates. Providers to communicate the perceived benefits of their proposals and any other relevant information. The term of the proposals which the providers should look to provide should start from 2020 and vary from in length from 5 to 25 years. With volumes ranging from 5MW – 20MW. Please note this is not a call for competition this is merely pre-market engagement whereby united utilities wishes to understand what is potentially on offer before we commit to any formal procurement process. We would ask that proposals are kept as clear and concise as possible.
