Jisc is entering into a 2 year contract with Bloomsbury Publishing Plc to provide specific and unique online content to it's member institutions. Drama Online is an online platform that includes full-text access to approximately 1 500 play texts and over 100 critical and practical works from Methuen Drama, Arden Shakespeare, Faber and Faber, and Nick Hern Books. Drama Online also includes audio and video content from LA Theatre Works, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, and Stage on Screen. The platform features a number of interactive Play Tools for users’ benefit. Bloomsbury provides access to unique online content in both textual and AV content gathered together into one place for a single price. This gives the institution the ability to offer its users a one search function of a large collection of this material that it could not afford or manage to provide if they went individually to each source.Some of the material cannot be found elsewhere.
