Jisc is entering into contract with Taylor and Francis to provide specific journals to its member institutions. The Taylor and Francis platform offers users potential access to over 1 400 full text journals in a wide variety ofsubject areas. 1 price is charged for access to this extensive collection. Taylor and Francis offer access to journals that are unique in content but also found in one platform at a single price. This gives the institution the ability to offer its users a 1 search function of a large collection of journals that it could not afford or manage to provide if they went individually to each publisher. No other supplier or publisher offers these journals in one place.
