Design, manufacture and supply of 92TS (Central and Waterloo & City Line trains) external sliding door panels.

Tender description

London Underground has a requirement for the design, manufacture and supply of 92TS trains (Central andWaterloo & City lines) external sliding door panels. The door panels are required to replace damaged anddefective doors that are beyond economic repair. There are two types of door panel required, a Saloon Right Hand and a Saloon Left Hand – 50 doors panels of each typeare required giving a total of 100 door panels. Installation does not form part of this procurement, however the supplier may be required to provide prototype installation support. This project is at Market Engagement Stage. Accordingly TfL are looking for interested parties to express an interest in this upcoming procurement. Future market engagement activities are expected to take place within March and April 2018. A market sounding questionnaire has been now issued. LU is inviting all interested parties to submit a response as per the RfX. This exercise does not form part of any formal procurement process. All responses will be carefully considered but will not bind TfL to any particular approach to the procurement, nor will responses be treated as conveying any promise or commitment on the part of the respondent.
