Merseyrail Electrics 2002 Ltd “Merseyrail” is seeking suppliers for the management, supply, delivery and online self-service order management of a corporate uniform along with measuring service and bespoke manufacturing for out of scope sizing. Merseyrail Electrics 2002 Ltd “Merseyrail” is seeking suppliers for the management, supply, delivery and online self-service order management of a corporate uniform along with measuring service and bespoke manufacturing for out of scope sizing. Merseyrail will be seeking to appoint an organisation to supply and manage a corporate uniform with subsequent services. Merseyrail wish to engage with reliable, forward looking and innovative organisations to work with us in our aspiration to ensure that our network retains its position as the best rail network in the country. It is envisaged that the contract term will be for a minimum period of 3 (three) years from the date of award, with the option to extend for an additional 2 (two) years at the sole discretion of Merseyrail. It is anticipated that the initial number of uniform wearing staff required for roll out will be approximately 1000 (one thousand). Following the initial roll out of the uniform, the successful Supplier will need to supply and deliver uniform on an ad-hoc basis as required to meet the needs of the organisation in terms of any new staff requirements or additional and replacement items required by staff. It is expected that a further full roll out to all staff will take place 18 (eighteen) months after the initial successful roll out with subsequently planned rollouts every 18 (eighteen) months. The successful Supplier will be required to provide a single point of contact for contract management and a fully supported online ordering system to deal with orders and any queries which may arise throughout the duration of the contract. As a minimum requirement, prospective Suppliers must demonstrate they possess the following capabilities: — ability to supply and manage corporate uniform requirements with Merseyrail logo / tax tabs for the duration of the contract, — capability to provide access to electronic ordering platforms for individuals to order their own uniforms with self-service functionality and the ability to tailor clothing options to different users, — punch out and e-catalogue functionality, — ability to provide a fully managed service with regular periodic reviews and forecasting, — provision for delivery at all Merseyrail locations, — capability to package and deliver uniform in wearer packs for each employee, — pre-agreed lead times from order to delivery, and — to attend site to measure / determine correct sizes during implementation.
