Who Speclialist Work With The Business Analyst will be working alongside the tri-branch case management system working group, User Researchers and other business specialists to develop the business case, identifying the needs, detailing requirements and identifying and validating potential technical solutions leading to the procurement of a supplier. What Specialists Work On Develop requirements and business case with key project documentation for a case management system to support the investigation process for the three AIB's. The Business Analyst will be working alongside the tri-branch case management system working group, User Researchers and other business specialists to develop the solution, identifying the needs, detailing requirements and identifying/validating potential technical solutions leading to procurement of a supplier. Work required to hold user requirements workshops and meetings to fully understand the workings of the respective branches and requirement for the project. Additionally the individual is expected to generate all tender documentation and potential tender assessment. Where the Work Takes Place Spring Place, Southampton / Farnborough House, Farnborough. Early Market Engagement Departmental user researchers have completed initial user requirements workshops and the tri-branch working group has been established. Working Arrangements 4/5 days per week on site with some flexibility. Working time to be split between Southampton and Farnborough with occasional travel. T&S would be aligned to the departmental policy. Work Location Spring Place, Southampton / Farnborough House, Farnborough. Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) Additional T&Cs Must be available for travel within the UK. Skills & Experience • Demonstrable evidence of collation of business requirements from multiple users using a range of disparate levels of detail • Evidence of where evaluation of proposed solutions assisted to deliver business requirements • Management of multiple varied stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation • Demonstrable facilitation skills and the ability to run effective workshops • Demonstrable experience of Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills • Demonstrable evidence of excellent communication skills • Experience in working within central government • Demonstrable experience of Agile project management Nice to Haves • Ability to work on .GOV.UK service implementations adhering to GDS guidelines • Implementation of bespoke and off the shelf solutions • Working knowledge of the implementation of workflow systems • Ability to develop detailed, usable data models to support and inform business requirements • Able to elicit the business benefits associated with a project • Experience of user acceptance testing, functionality testing, operational acceptance testing and integration testing • Ability to recognise common ground and key differences between multiple stakeholders and propose pragmatic and cost-effective solutions to meet individual goals • Experience working with government procurement No. of Specialists to Evaluate 5 Cultural Fit Criteria • Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team • Experience of transparent and collaborative decision making • Experience of taking responsibility for their work and resolving problems effectively • Experience of sharing approach, knowledge and skills with other team members Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers Budget range maximum day rate £750
