Tender description

The University of Birmingham currently has an annual spend of approximately 200 000 GBP per annum on estates maintenance stores materials & consumables and the purpose of this competitive tender is to establish framework agreements with suitably qualified suppliers for provision of the supplies. The requirement will be broken down into 2 lots: Lot 1 – building supplies, Lot 1 – mechanical supplies (incl plumbing supplies). The University is looking to enter into an agreement with 2 suppliers of miscellaneous building supplies, including, but not limited to, the following items: — blades, bolts, brushes, door closers, door handles, — drills, files, fillers, gloves, hinges, intumescent strips, locks, paints, pins, plugs, rollers, screws. — sealants, tapes. The University is looking to enter into an agreement with 2 suppliers of miscellaneous plumbing supplies, including, but not limited to, the following items: — bends solders, taps, tees, tubes, valves, washers. — miscellaneous plumbing consumables, bushes. — connectors, couplings, elbows, nipples, reducers, rings.
