Tender description

The University of Kent is seeking to appoint a Design Team for the design and construction of a new Life Science Building at its Canterbury campus which is capable of delivering a quality, yet cost effective and inspiring building design within the agreed programme and budget and in accordance with the brief. The University of Kent requires the provision of a Design Team to design and construct a new Life Science Building at its Canterbury campus. This Design Team shall be capable of delivering a quality, yet cost effective and inspiring building design within the agreed programme and budget and in accordance with the brief. Examples of the standard expected of the Service Provider are: — being able to work as a multi-disciplined team to a consistently high standard, — providing accurate and detailed information to enable forward planning and budget forecasting, — creative and innovative balanced with common sense and practicality of delivery, — taking responsibility for ensuring University of Kent’s compliance with current statutory health and safety legislation for all aspects of the Services as far as their work activities are concerned, — the ability to deliver projects successfully and to client’s satisfaction.
