1101 Replacement of Gateway Building Cold Water Booster Equipment & Pipework at De Montfort University Leicester.

De Montfort University seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out installation of external cold water break tank and booster pumps and replacement of the existing plastic water pipes at De Montfort University, Gateway Building, The Gateway, Leicester LE2 7DP. The new CWS break tank and booster pump set shall be housed in a GRP kiosk and be located externally at the site boundary. The existing 'Poly-Yorke' plastic tank fed cold water down service and the 'Poly-Yorke' plastic mains cold water pipework from the existing water meter at the site rising through the building shall be replaced with new copper pipeline. • Location: De Montfort University, Gateway House, The Gateway Leicester LE2 7DP. • Length of contract: 6 weeks. • Extent of Works: The Tenderer shall include for the provision and supervision of an adequate suitably qualified labour force equipped with all necessary plant, tools, equipment and access equipment required for the execution of the works. The works shall be the Mechanical Installation as set down in this specification, Schedules and the accompanying drawings together with all additional associated work, both temporary and permanent which may be required to ensure the correct functioning and fixing of the installation.
