Wireless Thermometer System for Pharmacy Fridges (Ref: 2018100 BT)

Tender description

WLMHT has a number of pharmaceutical fridges across the main hospital sites located at St Bernard's, Lakeside, Broadmoor and Hammersmith and Fulham and several smaller community sites offering specialist services. An increasing number of medicinal products require controlled storage and transportation conditions of between 2ºC and 8ºC. Such medicinal products must be maintained within the narrow temperature range above freezing point throughout the distribution chain. The temperature conditions under which medicinal products are maintained over this period are referred to as the 'cold-chain' and such conditions must be assured by the manufacturer, shipping agent, wholesaler and pharmacist.
