Tender description

Network Rail (NR) is seeking suppliers for Track Works contracts who will undertake track works on the GB rail infrastructure over the next 10 years, predominantly in line with NR's Control Period 6 (2019-2024) and Control Period 7 (2024-2029). Network Rail is seeking design suppliers and installation suppliers to pre-form as consortia to pre-qualify for the forthcoming tender event. The scope will predominantly include design and construction of track works on plain line track and switches and crossings (points). Associated work to cover: survey, site investigation, development, design and installation works including drainage, formation, ballast, sleeper, slab and rail works with associated traction power, signalling and minor civil engineering works such as signal / traction power foundations, level crossings, platform works, and cable troughing routes.
