Tender description

The purpose of this PIN is to establish and gauge the level of interest and ability within the market place to support the procurement process to be followed for the provision of a Waste Management Service with a Neutral Vendor following a successful trial. Potential providers of are required to express an interest via the Due North procurement portal and submit, in no more than 5000 words by 12:00 on the 22.3.2018, the following information. See detailed description (II.2.4) below. Estimated costs excluding VAT circa 100 000 GBP per annum. How you can meet the objectives of the Trust in this procurement exercise for the following service provision: — devise and implement a strategy of continuous advancement in waste management, — procure and manage contracts for the collection and disposal of waste, — achieve maximised waste segregation and 100% compliance in all waste streams, — adopt a Policy of re-use rather than “dispose of”, — engage with Trust suppliers and providers in “upstream” management of waste, — maintain a focus and drive commitment through continuous Innovation. Actual examples must be evidenced together with three reference sites where this service is being provided.
