Northern Ireland Rail (NIR) Track Engineering wish to trial a mobile rail milling machine on the NIR network, with a network gauge of 1 600 mm. The miller must be a possession-only rail vehicle (certified to RIS 1530 PLT issue 5), an on track machine (compliant with GM/RT standards as per UK) or a machine with existing approval documentation for 1 600 mm rail gauge within Ireland. This programme will be for 5 nights. Your proposal MUST be submitted within the etendersNI portal, via this Call for Tender (CfT). No other method of submission will be accepted this competition is below the threshold for EU tendering and is therefore outside the scope of the utilities contracts Regulations 2016.
