Tender description
In October 2014, Network Rail established 9 panel framework contracts for buildings, civils and railway engineering works across a number of regions, pursuant to an OJEU procurement process, the contract notice for which was published 21/06/2013. The frameworks cover mid-size projects with individual estimated project values between 5 000 000 and 100 000 000 GBP. The initial term of the frameworks covers the CP5 work bank October 2014 - March 2019 with an overall estimated value for CP5 at the time of 1 400 000 000 GBP (excluding VAT). Network Rail retained the right to extend the contracts by a period of up-to 5 years. This notice relates to the potential extension of the frameworks for all lots except buildings (East Midlands) and Civils (East Midlands) to cover the CP6 work bank & modify the framework terms for the period of the extension. This framework covers building related Panel Projects with an estimated value range of circa GBP 5 000 000 to GBP 100 000 000 in the London North West South Route. Network Rail intends to exercise its right to extend this framework and the extension period is intended to be for 2 years to cover early CP6 project work from April 2019. Network Rail also intends to make a number of minor amendments to the framework terms governing the CP6 extension period. Further details are set out in Section VI and Section IV.1.1.
