Multi Disciplinary Design Team Consultancy for Hull: Yorkshire’s Maritime City (HYMC)

Tender description

The Council has been successful with a Heritage Lottery bid for the Hull Yorkshire Maritime City project. Funding is approved in two phases, a development grant which is due for submission on 30 May 2019 and if successful, a delivery grant commencing from circa June 2019 over five years, three of which will be the capital delivery phase. The scale of the whole project is circa £27.4m of which the HLF will fund up to £15m. In addition to this work the Council is adding value by bringing forward the complementary scheme for Queens Gardens with a total cost circa £2m which will be funded separately. Hull City Council are seeking Multi-Disciplinary Design Team (MDT) suppliers that can provide a full building design, structural, M & E, landscaping, surveying and NEC contract administration consultancy around the renovation of the Grade II* listed Maritime Museum, the historic dry Docks at “North End Shipyard” including a new visitor orientation centre and two historic ships, The Arctic Corsair, the Spurn Lightship, the wayfinding landscaping including Queens Gardens and associated highways alterations and crossings.
