Tender description
This a retender of the emergency medical assistance contract (expiring on 31.3.2018) which provides advice and assistance to BBC employees and freelancers travelling overseas on BBC business. The service will include the provision of assistance in the event of a medical emergency — e.g. advice on where to find medical assistance and remote intervention into the provision of appropriate care, settling medical bills directly wherever possible and/or arranging medical evacuation. This service also provide pre-deployment reports for territories to which BBC personnel may be deployed, highlighting notable local risks and giving useful emergency information. Provision of international medical advice and assistance services to BBC employee and freelancers travelling overseas on BBC business.
