Tender description

Cumbria County Council has awarded this contract. The proposed strategy for grounds maintenance for all corporate sites across 6 geographical areas Carlisle, Eden, Allerdale, Copeland, Barrow and South Lakeland. Sites in scope include Offices, Libraries, Care Homes, Day Centres, and Fire Stations. At present there are around 162 sites within this Tender however this number may reduce over the term of the contract as the Council continues its programme of consolidation of Assets. The Grounds Maintenance operations required broadly comprise: Grass Maintenance: Grass cutting and edging. Horticultural Maintenance: Maintenance of shrub beds and borders; Hedge cutting; Planting and maintenance of summer bedding.
