Development Management and Architect Service

Tender description

Oxford City Council wishes to award a contract to a single supplier (contractor) for Development Management Services. The contract will require the agent to provide; • Architect and design services (including all necessary feasibility and survey work) • Project Management (including cost management, employers agent and clerk of works) • Management of the planning process to obtain permissions • Tender and procurement for a construction partner who delivers modern methods of construction. Of particular interest for this pilot scheme is volumetric offsite manufacture. • Construction contract management. In addition the supplier will test the feasibility and value for money of contracting with Oxford Direct Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Council to carry out the installation of the homes.
