AHDB currently source Foodservice data through a third party. The data monitors protein performance across the UK Foodservice industry. Access to this data allows AHDB to analyse the sector and the channels that make up Foodservice and monitor the performance of key sector-related products. The information is used, by AHDB to inform the industry on the latest trends and look at potential implications for AHDB sector-related products. The information is used at business meetings/presentations and also in the media in response to requests for market information/commentary. AHDB have spilt the Foodservice data procurement into Lots 1 and 2, the specification for both are the same with the main variant between the lots being shown below. Lot 1: Proposal to best meet AHDB “Core requirements” specification within a budget of 48 000 GBP per annum. Lot 2: Proposal to best meet elements of AHDB “Additional requirements” specification.
