Tender description

This requirement relates to the Ministry of Justice’s requirement for the supply of Farm Animal Feed within its own organisation and participating Contracting Authorities across England, Wales and Scotland. The main demanders for the current contract are within the Midlands Region, namely HMP North Sea Camp and HMP Hewell, HMP Prescoed / Usk (Wales), HMP East Sutton Park (Kent) and with a few smaller requests from HMP Kirkham and HMP Wymott. The resultant contract shall be a National 4 year call off contract with the Ministry of Justice on behalf of the participating Contracting Authorities. The contract shall be non-exclusive and has no guarantee of business or volumes. The HM Prisons demands constitute the majority of the Contracting requirement and it is intended that the Contract will be split into 2 Lots to cover the regions required as below: Lot 1: Midlands Region and Lancashire (HMP North Sea Camp, HMP Hewell, HMP Wymott and HMP Kirkham); Lot 2: Wales Region (HMP Prescoed / Usk).
