Tender description
Key Features & Capabilities including Operational needs and criteria: Instrument needs to be portable enough to be moved for shipping and installation without the use of specialist lifting equipment. Installation must be possible by BAS laboratory staff and not require a specialist engineer. There can be no requirement for an internal or external radioactive source. Three photo multiplier tubes (PMT) are required for triple-to-double coincidence ratio (TDCR) counting to maintain performance without the use of a radioactive source. The PC and software must be capable of being upgraded to match advancements in Windows operating systems. A preventative maintenance pack needs to be included in the purchase. User training in operation, installation, maintenance and basic repair is required.
