Tender description

Kent County Council has created this tender to identify a provider of Home Energy Monitoring Systems (‘HEMS’) who can provide best value for 10 (ten) different, private sector, residential owner occupiers who will be taking part in the EU Interreg funded, Triple-A Project, as ‘pilot’ or ‘demonstration’ properties. KCC is seeking to appoint a technology provider with a proven track record in the provision of residential energy monitoring systems and the management and delivery/presentation of collected data. The Triple-A project seeks to understand in detail the performance of photovoltaic technology and associated energy storage (battery) devices within a domestic environment. The pilot phase of the Triple-A project will involve the installation of such technology in 10 different properties (typically 2 storey, detached and semi-detached dwellings), and this tender seeks to secure the measurement and monitoring equipment to be installed simultaneously.
