Supported Housing for Homeless Young People

Tender description

Wirral Borough Council invites applications to tender for a contract to provide an accommodation-based housing support service for twenty-five (25) homeless young people aged 16-21 It is recognised that it is in the best interests of most young people to live in the family home or with responsible adults within their wider family network. Unfortunately, there will be occasions where it is untenable for the young person to do this and resultantly they become at risk of becoming homeless. The aim of the service described within this specification, is to reduce the number of young people aged 16 -21 becoming homeless in Wirral, and to help young people that are already homeless, access appropriate accommodation and services.
