Impartial Information and Advice service for children with additional needs. The purpose of the ISENDIAS is to promote, support and facilitate where necessary, partnership between children, young people and their families and the Local Authority (LA), Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), schools, health services and voluntary bodies in identifying, assessing and making provision for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities. The Outcomes of the service are: — parents/carers and young people feel better informed about health, care, and education services, — parents/carers and young people have improved independence and feel empowered to make decisions, — disagreement resolution and tribunals are a last resort, and the service's skill ensures most cases are resolved amicably.
