Tender description

The Glove Box systems are required for 2 projects at Sellafield, the Replacement Analytical Services Project (RAP) and the Sellafield Product and Residue Store Retreatment Plant (SRP). In order to meet this demand Sellafield intends to award a 10 year Contract to one supplier for; early support to preliminary design, delivery of detail design, manufacture, factory acceptance test, integrated works test and support to both commissioning and installation, with the upper value range of GBP 95 000 000 — 98 000 000. Please note, the above values are estimates only and Sellafield gives no guarantee of workload commitments. The scope and scale of products and services within this procurement includes the following: — Early Contractor Involvement during Preliminary Design, — Detail design; — Manufacture and assembly of GBS and associated equipment, — Factory acceptance testing and full integrated works testing of the GBS, — Support to installation and commissioning, and — Providing performance requirements input during development of civil design and construction processes.
