Construction work for multi-dwelling buildings and individual houses

LHC on behalf of the Welsh Procurment Alliance is working with a number of social housing providers in Wales and proposes to procure a Construction Framework for new build Housing. It is proposed to split the framework into a number of region lots based on the project size. The framework will be structured to encourage SME's to tender. The framework will be open to both contractors and consultants. — Workstream 1: Consultancy Services (Service Contract). — Workstream 2: Construction Services (Works Contract). LHC on behalf of the Welsh Procurement Alliance is working with a number of housing providers in Wales S to develop a Housing construction framework specifically Wales. It is proposed to have to cover construction services (main contractor) and Consultancy services (consultancy framework will be procured as a separate service contract). — Workstream 1 Consultancy Services (Service Contract) Including Architects, project management, Clerk of Works, Health and safety, Structural engineers and M&E consultants. — Workstream 2 Construction Services (Works Contract). — — Projects up to 15 units. — — Projects of 16 to 40 units. — — Project 41 or more units. It is proposed that each work stream will be split into various regional lots across Wales for different project sizes with the aim to encourage smaller organizations to tender for the framework. The framework is proposed primarily for the construction of new houses. There will also be the option for contractors to offer apartments, sheltered accommodation, nursing homes, residential care and student accommodation under the framework.
