To register on our e-sourcing portal click on https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk and follow the link "Register for CCS eSourcing" The Accelerator Science and Technology Centre (ASTeC) at STFC Daresbury Laboratory is currently building a new FEL test facility, CLARA - the Compact Linear Accelerator for Research and Applications. The facility will be used for research into efficient FEL schemes to produce ultra-short pulses of high-brightness coherent light. The CLARA Conceptual Design Report (CDR) was published in July 2013, and can be found on the ASTeC website: http://www.stfc.ac.uk/ASTeC/resources/PDF/CLARA_CDRv2.pdf. The electron beamline will transport an electron beam from the 6 MeV gun, through a series of linacs which accelerate the beam to a final energy of 240 MeV. The magnets listed in this contract are two dipoles for two of CLARA's spectrometer beamlines, used to measure the energy of the beam following acceleration. Each of these will bend a high-energy beam through 30°. The Contract duration shall be for a period of 6 months from commencement of the Contract.
