Superfast South Yorkshire (SFSY) is commencing the formal process of how to extend Next Generation Access (NGA)* broadband coverage over the next three years with the supplier market. As part of the process, SFSY is now commencing an Open Market Review (OMR) to establish with all existing and prospective broadband infrastructure the existing and planned commercial coverage over the next three years across South Yorkshire. The OMR is vital to inform the process of understanding and identifying any areas that won’t be covered commercially and will therefore be eligible for public funding through future investments.
