STEM - Desktop Stereolithography and Selective Deposition Lamination Printers

Tender description

A 4,200 square metre building for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) is being built at the University's Markeaton Street site. The centre, which is expected to be completed by mid-2017 will focus on real-world learning, combining functional teaching space with infrastructure designed for the specific needs of engineering and computing. The College of Engineering and Technology, University of Derby is updating and expanding on the 3D printing facilities. It is intended to provide the student with a range of AM provisions. The purpose of this tender is to update and expand on the current facilities, therefore enhancing the student experience with up to date equipment. Please refer to all documents issued as part of the ITT document set. This specification relates to procurement of two 3D Printers:- Item 1 - Desktop Stereolithography (SLA) Printer. Item 2 - Desktop Selective Deposition Lamination (SDL) Printer. The printers are to be supplied with all accessories, additional hardware and software necessary to be able to teach with the equipment.
