Soft Market Testing - Support for ex-Service Personnel

Leicestershire County Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to identify existing support providers for ex-service personnel in Leicestershire. Providers should be able to evidence comprehensive knowledge and experience of supporting ex-service personnel and have an established support network within Leicestershire. Relevant support would include; provision of information advice and guidance, casework support, signposting and assistance with obtaining charitable grants and/or funding, support to access eligible benefits to support independent living, and any other support that improves the financial circumstances of ex-service personnel or enables them to maintain independence and/or remain in their own home. Interested providers should email simon.palmer@leics.gov.uk before midday on Friday 10th March and include brief details of the organisation scope, relevant support provided, experience of supporting ex-service personnel, and countywide support networks. The information gathered from this notice will be used to support future commissioning decisions involving the provision of support for ex-service personnel.
