Tender description

Border Force is a Directorate of the Home Office. Border Force has a requirement to engage with a Service Provider to provide a Managed service for supply of medical services in Central/Eastern/Southern Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean/Ionian Sea, but other locations within the Mediterranean Sea may be necessary. The role will involve Supply of medical care of Refugees (and crew if necessary) travelling by sea to Europe. Common conditions encountered include fractures, nausea, petrol and chemical burns, heat stroke, pregnancy, exhaustion and shock. There are also, unfortunately, situations where it may be necessary to handle deceased adults and children in various stages of decomposition recovered from the sea.
