Production of three Pharmaceutical Needs Assessments (PNA)

Tender description

The London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD), Havering (LBH) and Redbridge (LBR) have a requirement for an appropriately experienced and qualified consultant/ organisation to undertake the production of three Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) to a common format; one for each of the Boroughs (LBBD, LBH and LBR). The aim of the service is to enable the Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWB) of the three boroughs to meet their statutory requirement and publish a timely PNA. The PNA will provide a framework to enable the strategic development and commissioning of community pharmacy services to help meet the needs of the local individual population. The successful provider will be expected to produce a final PNA for each of the three boroughs by 31st January 2018 for their HWBs to publish. The content should meet the requirements of Department of Health (DH) guidance that applies at the time of publication.
