NHS England — North (Cheshire and Merseyside) commissioning team, are hosting a market engagement event to discuss the upcoming procurement of orthodontics in Cheshire and Merseyside. We would like to use this event to support any potential bidders with understanding the new process for applications now that we are using a Dynamic Purchasing System(DPS). This facilitated event will primarily focus on, but not limited to: — the Oral Health Needs Assessment for orthodontics; — Draft Outline of Service Specification; — Explaining the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS); — Application support; — Expert advice from a procurement bid writer; NHS England is committed to improving services and has an opportunity to improve, re-develop and re-commission the current orthodontics pathways. GDPs, specialist orthodontists and secondary care dental service providers are cordially invited to attend and contribute to the discussions, and help inform the future strategy. Market Engagement Event The event will be held on Wednesday 15.3.2017 at Statham Lodge Hotel, Warrington Road, Lymm, Cheshire, WA13 9BP from 4:00 pm — 7:30 pm. If your organisation would like to attend the market engagement event, please note only two attendees per organisation will be accepted. Please send a correspondence via the Proactis portal with the following details for each attendee: — Name — Job Title — Contact details The deadline for registering to attend the event is 12 noon on Monday 13.3.2017. Please note that registering prior to the event is required. NB. None registered attendees will not be permitted on the evening.
