One Public Estate (OPE) round 6 bid

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of consultancy support to develop a Round 6 application with our Swindon town centre regeneration board. There are a number of projects that we could explore as potential to take forward to Round 6, including: • Kimmerfields / Fleming Way strategic office location and Cultural Quarter • Explore through discussions with GPU, the possibility of attracting more central government departments to relocate to Swindon We would like to commission a bid writer to submit a Round 6 application, working in collaboration with our programme Board to agree and identify opportunities and to submit a strong application. We expect that this application will need to be developed between April and June 2017. However, once the bid is submitted, the consultant will be required to respond to questions posed by the LGA or our partners until the successful bids are announced.
