HS2 Ltd - Environmental Baseline Data

Tender description

High Speed Two Ltd. (HS2) has recently awarded contracts to three consultants that will work to develop a Hybrid Bill for Phase 2b of the project. A major component of the Hybrid Bill is a detailed and robust Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). HS2 wish to engage the services of a single supplier of environmental data that can be used by HS2's contractors in the preparation of an EIA. A comprehensive range of GIS datasets are required that cover as far as possible, the following topic areas for which HS2 will undertake rigorous desktop and ground based assessments: • Agriculture, Forestry and Soils • Air Quality • Climate Change and Resilience • Community • Cultural Heritage • Ecology • Landscape and Visual • Land Quality • Major Accidents and Natural Disasters • Socio-economic • Sound Noise and Vibration • Traffic and Transport • Water Resources and Flood Risk • Waste and Material Resources The data is required to be supplied in an ESRI compatible format that contains no geometric inaccuracies, errors or duplicates. All datasets required to be supplied with detailed metadata that fully describes the lineage of the data.
