Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AG CSU), is conducting this procurement exercise on behalf of the Commissioners, West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG and Leicester City CCG, to seek suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver a Promoting Resilience Programme in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The objectives of this project are to promote good emotional health and resilience for all children, young people and their families. With a focus on preventing the occurrence of mental health problems, the resilience work stream will complement other work stream areas, working towards timely access to appropriate services. The service will include delivering a public health campaign on mental health and resilience. A key element of this will be to form partnerships with education providers to develop and deliver age appropriate education on mental health problems. The approach will create a range of ways for children, young people and carers to find out about mental health and the range of services that can help this. It is expected that the Provider will work in an integrated way with other primary mental health services, and voluntary and community groups will be integral to the provision of the service.
