Tender description

The London Borough of Waltham Forest wishes to commission an integrated Healthwatch and NHS Complaints Advocacy Services and invites bid submissions from suitably experienced organisations wishing to tender for the above contract. The contract, which is expected to start on 1.7.2017, will be for a 3-year period with the option to extend by a further 2 years, subject to annual review. This contract will address the responsibility of the Council to ensure an integrated Healthwatch service and NHS Complaints Advocacy service are available to residents of the borough. In this contract, both Healthwatch and the NHS Complaints Advocacy Service will be delivered by a single lead provider (though partnerships and consortium approaches are welcome). In addition to delivering against the statutory requirements listed below, this service will focus on building highly effective and constructive relationships with commissioners, providers, service users, and wider partners to ensure satisfactory outcomes for all concerned.
