Tender description

Lancashire, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Councils are statutorily required to provide public health services for children and young people and families, namely the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme, across each of their local authority areas. Commissioners desired to enter into exploratory dialogue with organisations with the appropriate expertise and relevant experience in the provision of 0-19 children and family services. This included providers of health visiting and school nursing services, third sector organisations and other children, young people and family specific services. The primary aim of this pre-procurement event was to understand the market and the options available to commissioners in order to deliver the outcomes and effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement. Commissioners invited interested providers to express their interest in participating in a market engagement event to: — Engage with commissioners to understand our challenges, intentions and desired outcomes for our services; and — Effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement and enable the potential formation of supply chains and/or consortiums. Spaces were strictly limited to 2 people per organisation.
