The authority wishes to appoint a contractor to carry out extension works to Bedford House. The current use of the property is a residential home for 11 vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and sensory impairment and a respite provision for up to 7 adults with learning disabilities per night; the home currently has 20 bedrooms in total.
