Expressions of Interest - Supported Accomodation Required for Young Female Aged 16

Tender description

Darlington Borough Council are looking for a supported accommodation provider who could identify a rental property in Darlington and provide qualified/DBS checked staff 24/7, initially on a 2:1 basis reducing to 1:1 when appropriate. The young person is almost 16 ½ years old (female). She is currently in a secure children’s home due to risks to others and herself. The Secure Order is due to expire on 21/2/17, although the Local Authority are going to request this be extended for a further 28 days to allow a plan of mobility to be introduced. Staff will need to be involved in the mobility plan which would involve introductions, visiting the home, clothes and toiletries shopping, contact with family and sleepovers before current Secure Order ends 21st. Following this more detailed information regarding the young person will be shared with any providers who express an interest and these providers will be invited to submit a competitive tender with chosen provider.
