Southport Pier - Paint Inspection

Independent consultant paint inspection services will be required for the duration of the proposed Southport Pier refurbishment contract (end April 2017 - end August 2018). The Council is embarking on the structural repair and refurbishment of Southport Pier which will commence, should funding be confirmed, in April 2017. An independent 'Institute of Corrosion' Level 2 trained paint inspector is required to be appointed as an integral part of the Council's project team overseeing this work. This appointment is also required as part of the warranty agreed between the Council and the paint coatings manufacturer. This appointment will be a vital part of helping to ensure quality control and delivering the work to the required standard. The preferred bidder would only be appointed should the funding be confirmed for the Pier refurbishment project in March / April 2017 Keywords: Coating , Inspection , Paint
