South Gloucestershire Taxi Marshal service

Tender description

The Service Provider will provide two Security Industry Authority (SIA) certificated Marshals to cover the main Taxi rank on Broad Street, Chipping Sodbury and include patrols of surrounding roads in accordance with an agreed patrol plan. The Service Provider will also provide two SIA certificated Marshals at the main Taxi rank on Regent Street, Kingswood (opposite Moravian Road) and at quiet times, include patrols of Regent Street (between Moravian Road and Page Road). Marshals will help to prevent incidents of anti-social behaviour, disorder and assault associated with the evening and night time economy. Hours of operation will be Friday and Saturday night between (2330 – 04:00 in Kingswood; and on Friday and Saturday night between 23:00 – 02:30 in Chipping Sodbury). In an emergency and with the agreement of the duty police Inspector at the time, the Marshals may be asked to extend their duty times. Keywords: marshal, security, SIA
