Outdoor Gym equipment for Peter Driver Sports Field, Church Crookham

Tender description

Church Crookham parish council would like to install gym equipment at the Peter Driver Sports Ground in Church Crookham. It should be inclusive for use by the whole community. They would like the gym to be suitable for functional body weight training and although primarily for use by adults to be safe for children who practically cannot be denied access. The budget for the project is £30,000 and the design should include the following: - Gym equipment in 1 area approximately 100m2 in front of the five a side pitch at the Peter Driver Sports Ground on Bourley Road in Church Crookham, GU52 8DY. - Up to 8 items of equipment compliant to European standards EN16630 - Equipment should be strong, robust, safe and high quality - Equipment should be free from entrapments, crush points, sharp edges and unrestricted pendulums. - Rubber Mulch Soft surface to full gym area connecting to existing tarmac path that leads to the five a side pitch. - White line markings on soft surface for training use (e.g. ladder, stepping circles etc) - Welcome sign - Start and finish signs - Clear instructions on use of each piece of equipment - Warranties on steel parts, paint, bearings, plastic parts - Replacement parts must be available in the UK with short lead time Please provide the following to Jayne Hawkins (Parish Clerk). - Completed questionnaire - Draft design and quotation - Product details - Warranty details for Structural parts, paintwork, bearings, plastic parts - Maintenance requirements and lead time for availability of spare parts - Testimonials - Delivery and installation time table Timetable: 1. 17th March 2017 - Full response (Questionnaire, Design, Quotation etc) to be received by Parish Clerk - Church Crookham Parish Council), 2. 27th March 2017 - All responses will then be reviewed by council members and a short list of three schemes selected. 3. Shortlisted schemes will be put on display and local users will be asked to comment before the final scheme is selected by the parish council at the parish council meeting 22nd May 2017. 4. Installation required before September 2017.
