The current ISMS is matched against obsolete standards (ISO27001:2005) and in some areas no longer reflects the current virtual working environments the MCA operates under, and consequently the controls used to mitigate threats and drive down vulnerabilities appear to be no longer fit for purpose. The ISMS must now be reviewed / refreshed and moved through to a completed status.
