Tender description

Surrey County Council is seeking to appoint a strategic framework Consultant to provide a wide range of multidisciplinary services for Lot 1 and multiple suppliers for Lot 2 Services. The framework will be awarded to a single service provider for Lot 1 and will be let for 4 years (initial term of 2 years with an option to extend by a further period of 2 years). The contracts for Lot 2 services will be awarded for an initial term of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years. The scope of Lot 1 services includes, but is not limited to the following: — Design for the maintenance, replacement and strengthening of Bridges and other structures including culverts and retaining walls; — Design for the improvement, maintenance and replacement of drainage infrastructure and systems both on and off highway; — Design for the maintenance, replacement and strengthening of Bridges and other structures including culverts and retaining walls; — Change Safety Barrier and Restrain Systems to Design of Road Restraint Systems (Vehicle and pedestrian); — Structures and Geotechnical Services; — Drainage / Flood Alleviation Strategy and Design, Hydraulic Modelling; — Local Economic Partnership (LEP); Local Transport Plan (LTP) Schemes. The scope of Lot 2 services includes, but is not limited to the following: — Asset Planning; — Asset Management Strategy; — Accident Investigation and Prevention and Route Safety Schemes; — Business Management Plan/ Engagement; — Business Strategy and Vision; — Client CDM Advice; — Development Management, Statutory Highways and Transportation Consultee; — Ecology and Environmental Assessments/Advice; — Economic Assessment and Appraisal.
