Highway Design, Maintenance and Construction Services

Tender description

The Council currently has a contract with a single service provider for the delivery of highway design, maintenance and construction services in Cheshire East. The contract expires at the beginning of October 2018. The Council wishes to consult with organisations with relevant experience of the delivery of similar services.The purpose of the consultation is to seek the views of market participants on the Council’s preferred option(s) and to support the Council in the planning and conduct of the procurement procedure. Suitably experienced organisations are requested to participate in this market consultation by responding to a questionnaire which can be found on www.the-chest.org.uk and searching for Project ID DN235090. The Council intends to proceed to procurement in mid 2017, however makes no guarantees that this PIN will be followed with a Contract Notice or tender. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is an indication of potential future procurement activity and is subject to change. The PIN is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process and is not a commitment to procure anything. The Council is keen to explore all options or solutions that may be currently available in the market and would like to engage with potential providers.
