Domestic Abuse Services

Tender description

1.1 The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead invites applications to tender for a contract to provide a domestic abuse service for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to run until 31 March 2019 with the option of a one year extension. The service will comprise: • Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) service; • Outreach service; • Children's IDVA service. 1.2 The Provider will delivery a IDVA, Outreach and Children's IDVA service receiving referrals from the Police, RBWM, the Health Service, Voluntary and Community Organisations, the MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) and from the public with the likely number being in line with the prevailing trend over the last few years, see Section 4. The services will risk assess these referrals, using a nationally recognised DASH (Domestic Abuse, Stalking, Harassment and Honour Based Violence) Risk Identification Checklist, and offer IDVA support to those assessed as 'high risk', and Outreach support to those assessed as 'medium' or 'standard risk'. 1.3 The service will be available for all clients affected by domestic abuse in RBWM, regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity or disability. 1.4 The tender is being hosted on local government sourcing e-tendering portal- Bravo Solutions: https://www.localgovsourcing.co.uk Ref: ITT: itt_610 - Provision of Domestic Abuse Services
