Tender description
Warwickshire County Council is looking for the provision of a service which will include all of the following elements: a) Provide a suitable delivery point (this means a site with appropriate permits and consents) where carpet waste (mixed natural and synthetic carpet and underlay) can be delivered by WCC or its agent. The delivery point may be a transfer station or the final reprocessing site. b) Ensure the Carpet Waste is reprocessed so that at least 50 % is re-used or recycled (details of expected tonnages provided in the ITT). c) Comply with all applicable legislation relating to the Contract as amended from time to time. The Council wished to procure a service for the recycling of carpets, full details provided in the ITT.
